ENGLISHTHE BUREAU:
Bureau of Employment for Visually Impaired People (BEVIP) is the result of a project, implemented by Center for Support of Social Integration – Priorities and Rehabilitation for the Blind Foundation within the framework of Human Resources Development Operational Programme 2007-2013 with the financial support of the European Social Fund. BEVIP is licensed by the National Employment Agency.
OUR AIMS:
BEVIP aims at supporting visually impaired people in their combat for professional realization and worthy way of life. In order to achieve this we:
- Create opportunities for people with visual impairment for pre-labor realization acquisition of knowledge and skills with a view to improvement of their labor market profiles;
- Raise awareness among the employers about the specific potential of the visually impaired as well as the eventual benefits from hiring people with disabilities, ensured through the government policy for encouraging employment;
- Create motivating work conditions in an attempt to overcome the negative attitudes of the visually impaired and promote activeness on their part in the search for professional realization.
